The Legacy of Magnu
- Why call it The Legacy of Magnu? Because
it's about Magnu's legacy that he left behind when he died. Simple
as that...
- How long do you plan on writing this
manga? Well, we plan on creating a total of 19 volumes with about 6 chapters
each. We've already begun planning movies and video games that
will be made available as soon as they are finished (don't expect them
for another couple years though...the manga isn't even done yet
>_>)
- Will it be ever be printed? Hopefully
one day, if a publisher wants it.
- Why Rated "PG 13"? Because
of graphic violence (fighting against demons...need I say more?)
- How would you classify your manga?
It's a Christian fantasy manga. Places in the comic really
exist, but fantastic events occur, such as fighting demons, having
supernatural powers, and the sort.
- Since this a "Christian"
manga, don't you think there are going to be those that are going to be
offended? Sure I do. After all, not all people see
eye-to-eye. But we won't trash other religions either. We
are writing this manga as a statement of our faith, so those who don't
like it don't HAVE to read it. We aren't forcing
anyone.
- Do you have other comics? Yes,
one of which being Star Fighters (was originally called something else,
but the name is too embarrassing >_>). I started it back in
seventh grade, but it kinda died. Never got really far with
drawing it, but I had such plans for it. I've been considering
redoing it. Not sure though. Another is Battle Ki, which you
see posted on this site. My friend Geno wrote all the story, I'm
just the illustrator. Then there's Jaded, which died. Not
much else though.
Story Information
Legacy of Magnu was originally an idea of a story of a group of people who used powerful mechs to fight the alien forces. However, since the idea was first created, it has evolved into a massively complex line of events. The story is no longer about humans in
mechs, but rather a story about a race of people, though not human, are charge with the protection of humans. It deals with some of the aspects of the Christian faith, such as angels, demons, and the belief that all aspects of life are controlled by God.
The main character of the story has a very
interesting story behind him. He's a man with no emotions. Any kind of strong emotion he feels causes him pain. He has learn to
suppress them, but he still loses control every now and then, but not without serious, painful consequences. Negative emotions have little effect on him, but positive ones cause him to have serious
migraines that last a long time.
