Angel - A servant of God.  Sometimes take on physical forms an relay messages from God.  Angels have free will and live to serve God.  Often described as having feathered wings.

Aurorias (Aw-rî-ŭs) - A high-mortal race, these beings have extraordinary powers and have the ability to fly.  These beings do a good deal of the fighting against demons.  They typically have pointed ears, tails, and wings.  Their family bloodline is what determines what kind of physical features they have, such as feathered or scaled wings, dragon or furry tails, etc.  These beings, like all others, have free will and serve God to their best ability.  Some choose to settle down and raise a family of their own. 

Demon - An angel that has turned from God and has been cast out of heaven.  In The Legacy of Magnu, 'demon' is also the term used to describe a being that has been sealed with the Seal of Darkness (See Seal of Darkness for more info).

Dhigger (Dĭ-gger) - A race of scorpion-like creatures with six legs, a pair of pincer-arms, and a pair of humanoid arms.  They have five eyes, two of which are humanoid, only they have slit pupils.  They have long, thin ears, and their mouths open to side-to-side instead of up-and-down.  They have very large teeth which are used to rip large pieces of fleshed.  They are typically large prey eaters.  Females tend to have two pairs of hands, while males have one pair of hands and one pair of pincers.  Females also tend to be lighter in color and larger than the males, being they are the dominant gender of the species.  Females are typically magic users.  (First appearance:  Vision 2 [Page 29])

Harpie - A race of humanoids with feathers lining the back of their arms and have a pair of wings.  They have dark skin and tend to be very lean.  Their hair is usually the same color at their feathers.  Vicious and powerful, these creatures use their long claws and sharp teeth to kill their prey.  Harpies are all female.  Male versions of the same race are called Tengu.  Often in literature, Harpries are described as female. (First Appearance:  Vision 3 [Page 74])

 

Lebron - a type of ground-dwelling dragon.  They have rock hard skin with rows of black fire burning from them.  This black fire can burn through the densest of matter in order for the Lebron to find food.  The bigger the flames coming from it, the older it is.  They also have large ridges on their bodies to aid them in digging for food.  (First appearance: Vision 1 [Page 18])

Magnu (Măg-nŭh) - refers to the legendary hero.  Magnu was of a race of beings called the Aurorias (see for pronunciation).

Nue'vahn (New-vawh) - Jake's real name.  Definition and origin coming later.

Se't (Sĕ-t) - The name of a Dhigger in Vision 2.  His name is from the Dhigger language and means "Forceful One."

Seal of Darkness - A creature that wears this mark is classified as a demon.  If the darkness in the creature's heart grows stronger, the mark seems to spread from its original shape.  The mark is created by the darkness inside the creature's heart, and therefore the bearer becomes a slave to the darkness.
